Pictures of Lily

Another lily has arrived. Oriental Casa Blanca. The sun gave this one a yellow tinge this afternoon.
I love the way lilies tease: they take forever to gain height, pause, then the bud, pause, then one morning: boom!
I forgive them their reticence as the end product is so worth waiting for.

We wandered Loch Lubnaig at lunchtime today for a swimming spot for the dogs, but no luck. Cars everywhere, and the loch was human soup. We ended up under the bridge at the access to Strathyre Cabins and Ben Ledi. Far from ideal, but the dogs had no complaints.
