Morning light

The sun was just making its way through the trees when I took a walk around the yard to water my flowers.   This is one of the remaining sunflowers.  I had to drop the water hose to go get the camera because I was afraid I would lose the light!   

In the extras is a shot of the moon last night right when it lifted above the tree line just before dark.   We have had a hazy two days with the smoke in the upper atmosphere from the fire in Oregon.  But it makes for interesting photos.   The moon was actually the pink color as I have shown it.    

Hot and dry here even after the rain earlier  in the week.  Good thing there are books to read.
