My grandmother's inheritances

Today I visited my step-mom in coastal area, as she now has moved into her new apartment. It took about two hours to get there, some hours to chat and collect some stuff. We also had lunch in Chinese restaurant before I left driving back home.

The issue was to take back to me some old cook books (in the blip) and dishes, but specially few items for the new owners of her old apartment. Those things, like also ADSL-box had been accidentally moved into her new home, now back in Tampere.

Those books are very interesting, I think, showing how finnish households ate in the beginning of 1900's, and during and after war years in 1940's. My grandmother had got these from her mother. It feels good to own them now.

It also felt good to take some time of my own, to drive between all the fields - even though there was plenty of traffic. There often is between Turku and Tampere.
