Favourite perch

The fallen down tree is an attractive perch for the mallards. How lovely to be able to enjoy a short stroll in much better temperature with pleasant breeze - think I’ll make it to the week-end now.
Went to supermarket extra early, so did many others and with multiple kids some being pushed in trolleys. There were some empty shelves especially water and soft drinks which is expected during a heatwave, and not much variety of fruit.
