Waste not...

Did a bit of skip diving today.

Decided to go home today as the heat was beginning to get us down. Some motorhoming FB friends had made their way to a stop just half an hour away from where we were and it was coincidentally on a possible route home. We called in for a visit and to check out the parking, which they recommended highly.


They were not wrong! It was a delightful free stopover at an Abbey hotel. We passed a companionable couple of hours, during which we were shown the recycling bin that they had discovered, full to the top with paperbacks (almost entirely in English) in good condition. I stole a few :-) Can't bear to see good books pulped.

So, that's my summer reading sorted out, friends caught up on, and a new overnight spot added to our list.

Not a bad day but pleased to be home and about to dive into a bread, cheese and beer meal.
