Dear Mom..

I went to my parents to cook and do some things for them before settling down for Comic Relief (I think I laughed twice, I cried about twenty times!) and brought back some bits from my old room to add to my piled up boxes of things in my new home!

I never properly read this book the first time round, it's written by my cousin's American husband about his time as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, there was some interest in turning this into a movie at one point and he was in touch with a screenwriter but I think that's all gone a bit quiet. He is a remarkable and fascinating chap but I've only met him once as they live half a world away in Vancouver Island.

Time to re-read this I think!
