Bridges, Haar and a Sunset
It was another hot and sticky day with nothing done but some work on another piece of less than perfect wood (not finished yet) and I had not taken any pictures - so I took shots of a couple of recently finished pieces with the intension of one of them being my Blip.
However, I decided that I would go and see if there was going to be anything happening at South Queensferry in the way of a sunset (since there have been a couple of sneaky sunsets this week).
Obviously there was something or my picture would be a bit of wood (now relegated to the extras).
As I was driving towards South Queensferry there was harr rolling in which wasn't a good sign.
Driving along the main street (when did they make that one way?) the harr had lifted to the level of the rails on the Forth Bridge .... I could work with that!
By the time I parked it had lifted a bit more and the light was sneaking in under it and giving the rather pleasing effect as seen above.
When I got to my chosen spot things really started to play ball.
I never did quite get what I was after - but I did get some rather nice - different - shots of a sinking sun and some manmade structures.
There are a dozen of them OVER HERE which can explain things a lot better then I can..
