Thursday: View From The Canon

I was back to working from home today but did have to do a run downtown to help a colleague out.  She was the only one in the office and left her keys there yesterday so I went down to let her in, otherwise she would have been a bit scuppered.

K and I went to V&E’s for dinner tonight.  It was excellent - both in terms of dinner and company.  We started with gazpacho, followed by fish and topping it off with lemon pudding.  We then decided to head off to Stanley Park to experience the 9pm canon.  It was as loud as you might expect.  I was planning to film it but missed as the canon went off two minutes early.  Just as well I did miss it, as K uttered quite a loud expletive when it went off………..
