Wilson

It is goodbye to Wilson today on the volleyball court. He has been a constant companion for the past two years, but with the departure of our court impresario Daryl on Thursday, our upcoming trip to the United States on Monday, and other regular players returning home in the next two weeks, the stalwarts of the beach will now be the locals. They really deserve a better ball than this, but it has served (pun intended) us well and will undoubtably last until it gets too hot for anyone to play. Poor Wilson has survived numerous trips into the ocean and day after day in the hot sun. He is showing the effects of this punishment, pealing panels and a less than round shape, but we know Lourdes will treat him right and use him to keep the volleyball tradition alive on Playa La Ropa.
