Well Equipped?

........... I think this is some some sort of Snout Beetle or Weevil ( best guess). The internet says they can damage roots of certain plants but this one was far more interested in the nectar and as I could only see one, I let him stay and enjoy his feast ;-)

I had to pick up a ‘ click and collect ‘ grocery order this morning and needed to call in for petrol while I was there. I was very disappointed to see that there was no mention of masks or space at the entrance to the tiny foyer where you go in to pay - not even a poster or notice suggesting it’s a good idea ........ previously there was a one way system and someone there to help customers stick to it and staff all wore masks. Today there was nothing - not a single member of staff had a mask on and consequently none of the customers were putting masks on to go inside ......... I was appalled, no wonder infections are spiralling when shops don’t even recommend basic precautions.
If I hadn’t already filled up with petrol I would have just driven elsewhere...... but there’s nothing to say it won’t be the same all over!!!!
I wore my mask and couldn’t get out quickly enough .......... I find it incredible that people seem to think it’s all gone away just because all the restrictions have been lifted ........ utter madness :-((((
