Red Deer

Daniel had an appointment this morning so we just had Emily to take care of. Thankfully she agreed to the suggestion of taking a walk to feed the deer. I couldn't believe The Daughter had deer within walking distance of her house. (The badgers and foxes in her garden had been exciting discoveries on previous visits.)

We had a very enjoyable walk and the red deer were great to see, even if they weren't wild ones. A few of them came very happily to sample the apples and carrots we'd brought for them.
