A long hot day. Started in Cockermouth this morning in a room that was an airless oven so I was glad to grab the chance at lunchtime to head home for this afternoon’s meeting and appraisal on Teams.
Afterwards I went down to the river and had a dip there for a change ... joining the dipping swallows and house martins and loads of flitting banded damoiselles ... I think ... so beautiful.
