Selfies

As a photojournalist I decided that the best way to document my spring break cruise would be through selfies. Cause who doesn't love those?
Things I discovered:
1) I am violently bad at taking selfies. I almost always cut my own face out of the entire photo. Or it was out of focus. Or pointing at the ceiling. I welcomed all of these photos into the collection though. Take this photo for example. I'm the one in the lower left in case you thought I managed to take a picture of my actual face. Well done, Erin.
2) When taking a selfie some kind stranger is almost always going to come over and offer to help you take the photo. I had to explain several times that "no thank you, I prefer my out of focus pictures. It's a thing."
3) There are a lot of reflective surfaces on cruise ships in which to take mirror type pics. Myspace revival coming soon.
