Quilt number 1

That I was ‘hosting’ the July block for quilts for care leavers. Well the blocks have been coming in thick and fast and today I realised that there was enough of these golden green colours to do an entire quilt. I am pleased how it has turned out, just a few more to do as and when I have enough of similar coloured ones.

Mr And Miss H have been to Tatton flower show today, but I think the heat was too much for them, especially with having Libby with them.

I have just cooked myself in my sewing room which is up in the loft conversion so always hotter than the rest of the house.

Only two more full days of being confined to barracks as they say.
