The One That Got Away

A record number of moths in the trap this morning. It took me ages to identify, record, photograph and release them! This Peppered moth was one of the largest and most spectacular today, but the one that I was most thrilled with was one I've seen in books and on websites - a Yellow Shell. Sadly, it flew off before I was able to get any more than a record shot, so it's just in extras for the time being.
