Today's the day ....................... to catch up

A brief visit to Kendal today so that Will could make a long-awaited appointment with the dentist - and we could both catch up with Dominic and Mel now that the school holidays have begun.

We had to see Dominic's two new goldfish, swimming around in a bespoke pond in the garden - and he was full of questions about the health and welfare of our Mr Pheasant since he lost his tailfeathers.  Unlike us, he can't wait to see the rabbit(s) in our garden.  But then he is very interested in living creatures of all kinds.

Then, on the way home, we called in at The Devil's Porridge Museum not far from Annan.  It's something we've been meaning to do for ages - and it did not disappoint .......................
