LD 484 Sitting in the sunshine

It has been that sort of day and week - today was the hottest so far of this spell of very dry and sunny weather - and like me, Orla thought the best way to get through it was to sit in the sunshine,  at least until it got too hot. 

This evening I had a look at some weather statistics from our little gauges here : rainfall so far in July has been 28 mm,  with measurable amounts on only four days.  Last year for the same period (and admittedly it was a wet month) there had been rain on 19 days and a total of 162.20 mm.  

Quite a difference.
