Purple Haze

I ticked two items off my bucket list today.
Finally managed to walk in lavender fields after several years of trying unsuccessfully. It certainly felt as hot as Provence! Coincidentally the Yorkshire Lavender fields were right next to Castle Howard (aka Brideshead) another place I’d always hoped to visit. Wonderful gardens. I think the best I’ve ever visited in the UK.
Back to Filey for a trip to the beach and a cooling off swim. Perfect day.
