Gray ...
... catbird.
Today was weird ... I don't know how else to describe it.
Because of the raging fires in the Pacific Northwest and Canada the smoke has reached us way on the other side of the country. You can actually see it in the sky and obscuring of the sun. The light was there but very diffused.
That made for some interesting photos today. Including the extra that I have posted taken at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. You can see the 'haze' from the smoke ... especially around the sun. If this is what we see here it must be really awful in and around the fire locations. My heart goes out to all that have been affected.
Backblipped: July 22, 2021 ... and I also backblipped starting with a Sunday afternoon fawn.
About the Catbird picture: they (and many other birds) love watermelon! We always save the rind with just a little fruit left on and put these outside for the birds! I highly recommend doing this whenever you have watermelon.
