Despite the extreme care in taking up and careful storage of the old laminate to avoid having to pay for any more, the installation of new radiators with different piping arrangements means our under-kitchen-cupboard-for-seven-years stock of spares will be depleted even before we get to the bits like the thresholds which were too impossible to remove without breaking. There is an idea floating around (not mine) which has deemed floor beading to be unwanted, bit seeing as the laminate was cut and laid with beading in mind there may have to be done compromises.
