Today we got up early and were fueled and on the road by 0340.

It was a 5 hour drive south from Karratha to Karijini with us arriving to drizzle and intermittent rain and sun. We explored Hamersley Gorge on some very slippery rocks and the natural spa there (a plunge pool).

We then went around to Karijini proper and with better weather explored Joffre and Knox gorges, as the sun was setting we pulled into the campsite and cooked an amazing spaghetti bolognese dinner.
