Sunshine, Daffodils and Progress

I thought I would take a close up of one of the daffodils which I rescued as they were buried in the snow, a lot of which are still thriving indoors. The sun obligingly appeared for a while so I moved them on to the windowsill to take this shot. I do particularly like the ones with the orange centres.

Watched the final broadcast of the news at BBC Broadcasting House at lunchtime - the end of an era. Admittedly, the building does look a bit dated now, but has a lot of history attached to it and, as it's been sold for re-development I guess it will be demolished...? Oh well, all in the cause of "progress" I guess.
