St Gregory’s Church, avennos Ottery
A walk of five miles with our walking group this morning and one we hadn’t done before. We were lucky as the walk leader had chosen a walk with plenty of shade. He wasn’t so lucky as he was stung by a bee from a hive up in the tower as we looked up. We had some lovely views of the surrounding countryside and saw a variety of butterflies and dragonflies. We had another swim in the afternoon, it was good to feel refreshed after a dip. We are getting used to our daily saunter down to the beach. It’s still extremely hot.
