Airforce Memorial

Another really hazy day in DC. Normally, from that vantage point, the city is nicely laid out at the horizon line with its white monuments in sharp relief. No such thing today.

I thought the scale of the monument with, in the background, the tiny shape of the commercial airplane about to land at DC’s airport (bottom right) was interesting
