At last

For the life of me, I can't remember what this plant is called.  It has flowered away in the front garden for years and when we redid the drive last year it got moved to one of the beds at the back.   Whatever we've done to it, it's taller than it's ever been before.   And an extra bonus is that we must have left a piece in the front garden because it's flowering there too. But it's been showing buds for several weeks and I thought they would never open!

Very hot today.   Even at 8pm it's still 26 degrees outside and that just never happens in Central Scotland.  Glad of the shade.
