Some like it hot

I was working in the garden by 9am thinking it would be cooler, it wasn’t. In fact it was like a sauna. Still I got a lot done - pruning, deadheading and clearing away. My blip today is a Penstemon. ‘’ Arabesque  Orchid’’  a plant I have never grown before, but absolutely adore, it is quite beautiful.
