Walked to Mousehole in blistering heat today. Dylan Thomas was a great admirer and there’s no doubt that it is a very pretty fishing village, although I’m also very partial to its neighbour Newlyn.
This sign was unveiled a couple of years ago - there has long been a Grenfell Street in Mousehole, but the street sign is a recent addition that reflects the close bond between the two communities with many survivors coming here for rest and recuperation.
