Another extremely hot day

But the roses, sweet peas, lavender and butterflies seem to be thriving better than I. Was not able to catch a butterfly in my blip, they’re whizzing about so quickly. I’ve agreed with the oxfam shop that I can do 2 hours instead of 4 today - don’t want to feel unwell again.  Going to have a little session in my grown ups paddling pool (icy water in the washing up bowl) before I leave :)
I do hope everyone is taking care and keeping well.  It was actually the government amber weather warning - the first time it’s been used for a heatwave - that persuaded me to take it seriously and act differently.  Somehow it gave me permission not to struggle on as I normally would.
