Kinder Scout

Today we walked from Glossop to Kinder Scout, which in the current heatwave meant that we were sweating before we had even left Glossop. It was hot and pretty tough but made much easier by whatever Antony pulled out of his rucksack. Antony packs a rucksack a little like he packs his car, you just never know what he’s going to bring out next. Today we had delicious sandwiches, haribo, biscoff biscuits and, delight of delights, frozen bottles of water that we pressed onto our faces then drank as they melted.

A cracking day.
