The picture says it all

The paddling pool was filled and ready to go by 10.30am, they lasted until lunchtime and by the afternoon we retreated indoors. The heat wiped us out Max couldn’t fight the sleepiness.
I’m busy preparing last minute bits for my final week teaching in my current school. Very mixed feelings as I love lots of the people I work with and the children, many of which I’ve taught for two years now but I’m looking forward to my new job in September also.
