Working Man

If you look carefully you spot Alf cycling to his first shift. About an hour after I took this we had a massive storm, went on for hours, loads and loads of rain. The side of the drive was flooded, water up to the bottom of the car doors. The back garden was partly underwater, gutters and drains overflowed, and the river is high. However we are ok, unlike some of our friends who are properly flooded, several feet of water in cellars.

Meanwhile Alf sounds like he’s not having the best start to his new job, I’ll reveal more at a slightly later date.
