I should’ve gone to see this a few days ago but I hadn’t realised demolition had already started. There was an extension to this building at the front, built on stilts, which largely obscured all the original features. Many years ago I attended a job interview here when it was offices. In more recent years my son has been a regular in its new life as The Picture House nightclub. It was well known for all the parked cars and taxis outside at all hours and keeping the local McDonald’s busy at 4am. A piece of history gone.
