Geranium Buds

This is literally one of the first shots I have taken with my new bridge camera, a Sony rx10 IV. The camera is hot to of the box and I haven't even had chance to read any of the instruction manual but am relying on my knowledge of my ailing compact camera, a Sony rx100. I have bought this camera as an all purpose tool but was very impressed with the reviews of its macro possibilities. I am going to have e to get used to carrying a heavier camera around whenI go out walking but that is a small price to pay for an excellent sensor and lens combination. This is a shot of geranium buds against the backdrop of geranium blooms taken at the 600mm end of the lens though I gather close up macro shots are equally impressive.
