Fun in the Shade.

Very hot indeed this morning and E & E came up for the morning. We started with a good walk down the wood as under the trees it was shady and cool-ish. While Mr E was later happy to kick the football about in the sun with Chloe, Miss E doesn’t take the sun so well so stayed in the shade much more. 
We had rigged a sun shade at the back door so come lunch time it was much more pleasant to eat in the fresh air. 
Ali collected the young ones after lunch and we really didn’t do very much for the rest of the afternoon, it was just too hot.
We have just finished watering the garden (watering cans, not hoses!) so can soon head off for another walk with Chloe once the thermometer drops a bit.
