Magpie

He is pecking merrily in our newly sown lawn, and has got something in his mouth. The rain has made the dinner preparation for the magpie very easy!!

Rain, yes it has rained all morning as well as yesterday afternoon/evening. Our lawn is beautifully sodden, should be green in a few days, and the local farmers are smiling merrily. I'm not sure how much rain has been dumped further north but hoping that they have received some. We have just had another light shower, bringing the total to 34mm. Very happyy.

The power went off this afternoon, omg we take it for granted so much!! Back on now, and all is happy in the camp.
