Candie Gardens…
It’s been a long time since I’ve used a proper camera. It took me ages to even remember how I used to get the photographs from the camera to my MacBook. I would prefer to get them straight to my iPad but can’t find the lightening connector! But by this morning I was good to go and luckily the sun was still shining.
What I’d also forgotten was how heavy the camera is!
Anyway I took 36 photographs; some were rubbish but some OK but my goodness was it long winded trying to edit them without full PS and Lightroom. I used to have Lightroom set to automatically do the same edit on all photographs from this camera and that saved a lot of time. Today I not only had to do them each individually but PS Express simply doesn’t offer the ability to swap colour channels so I had to make do with conversion to black and white.
If I’m going to continue with IR then I must subscribe to PS and Lightroom. At one time I used to use IR a lot; not only for the effect on green plants. But do I want to carry a camera? Probably not…
Anyway, I did my best to produce something memorable for my 7 year blip day. Sorry to anyone who prefers colour.
