The Neighbor's Willys Jeep

When we saw our neighbors out, we had to go over to talk to them.

2 days ago, her $700 parrot escaped, and they thought that he was a goner.

But, a couple of things happened. The bird ended up about 1.5 miles away as the crow flies, and a guy put out his hand, and the bird came to him.

Then, the next part. The story has it that the husband wanted to keep it, but the wife argued that they should try to find the owner. The wife won. Through Facebook, and through many friends of friends, the bird was tracked down. 

While we listened to the happy-ending bird story, I shot the Army jeep for a future project.
