I wasn't expecting that!

Oreste who looks after our garden, often plants odd bulbs, seeds or plants in our garden. He doesnt tell me and sometimes I come across a flower in bloom that I wasn't expecting to see. It happened today with this lovely white lily. So lovely!

I went shopping to Morrison's this morning, having avoided going over the weekend. It was so quiet and beautifully air conditioned so very pleasant to wander up and down empty aisles. I didn't see anyone without a mask which was encouraging. Then I spent the afternoon reading in the garden. I started a new book by one of my current favourite authors ...The Magician's Assistant by Ann Patchett....Im really going to enjoy it.
