My Gran’s Granny

Of course what you do on a hot day is sit at the computer! Apart from taking the cat to the vet yet again with fight injuries…

I’m working on my Gran’s memoirs . She was born in 1900 and this is her grandmother Mary who travelled to Australia in 1857 with her sister Eliza . Granny Mary returned, married a dockworker and lived in Malta for a while. The sister Eliza stayed and recently I made contact with her relatives out there, a cousin of sorts. She sent me photos of Eliza- they’re very similar.! But I really like this one of Mary .
