Pirates Cove
Today was really nice. We started the day with brunch with my oldest friend and her husband. We don’t see each other as much as we would like but when we do it’s like no time has passed. After we stopped by my parents for a bit to check on them. Then we took my brother out on the boat with us. We dropped anchor just passed Port Jefferson harbor at what is known as Pirates Cove. It is a popular spot for boats to stop and enjoy the day. The land behind is called McCallister Park. It’s beautiful county park where you can hike the dunes and enjoy the views.
We had grilled fish for dinner and dessert was a handful of figs that were the first we picked this year from one of our tree.
