In The Groove
I can’t help but think that a 45 rpm vinyl would have been a bit more in the 60’s theme, but 78s were still on sale, and the 10 inch shellac made a better photo. (I have just discovered that my 1948 recording of “Pee Wee Hunt And His Orchestra – Twelfth Street Rag / Somebody Else, Not Me” is possibly worth about £20.)
Gave the record a good clean before photographing, and all looked great until I converted to B&W. Just spent another half an hour in PS with the healing tool . . .
