Hopeful?

Some hopeful signs of spring on the cold morning walk.

The daily Covid press conference wasn’t particularly hopeful though. Ninety eight new cases in NSW, 37 of whom had been out and about while infectious. NSW Police issued 201 on the spot fines. The Victoria lockdown extended. Less than 11% of the Australian population is fully vaccinated and we are in bottom position on the OECD league table.

A flutter of alarm around here because Burradoo was mentioned as a location of concern, and no-one knows why. Maybe another of those removalists who have been travelling regardless of testing positive.

I will try to think of a more cheerful blip tomorrow.
