I’m Not Complaining

I am not sure where all of these beautiful poppies that seem to have appeared this year in my garden came from, but the flowerbeds are full of them and I certainly didn’t plant any. One thing is for sure, I’m not complaining and this one looked particularly lovely with the early morning light shining through.

Thank you for all your good wishes after yesterday, I’m feeling okay today apart from a general feeling of being hit by a bus, but I guess that’s what happens when you get to certain age you... don’t bounce so well!!

I had a very early morning start as Sushi was working at a local rabbit/guinea pig boarding kennel and I had to drop him off. I took Dylan and we went on to meet a friend for a quick walk and some breakfast before the heat set in for the day. After picking up Sushi on the way home we all had a very relaxing afternoon pottering in the garden, getting a few jobs done and generally taking it easy.
