‘Clive’

I’ve taken the folks away for a couple of days cycling the Mary Valley Rail Trail.

We checked into the campsite at Imbil Showgrounds. It runs on the principle: ‘Find yourself a spot and the caretaker will come along sometime to collect the fees’.

Sure enough Clive arrived late afternoon on his bike, complete with Covid QR code for checking in!

He collected our $20 per night (free for dogs) and gave us the lowdown on where the hot showers were. Oh, and the best meal to order at the pub, of course, wouldn’t be the country without important advice like that!
