Aurora Borealis

We have been looking for northern lights for a long time and always missed them due to the fact that we go to bed so early. Finally tonight we managed to see some without going too far out of Reykjavík. The camera is not good enough to capture them, but at least one can see what it is.

Earlier today we took a road trip around Hvalfjörður. The light was fantastic and we stopped often to take icy photos, but it was too cold to hike. The horses we saw looked very depressed, poor things.
