Steaming by

Another beautiful day on the Isle of  Wight. We spent a couple of hours this  morning on the esplanade at Ventnor before driving towards Bembridge and onto  Culver Cliff for fantastic  views of the Solent and  the south  coast of the mainland, stretching  from beyond  Southampton in the  west to Brighton in the  east.
On our return ferry this afternoon, from Cowes to Southampton, we encountered preserved Steamship Shieldhall (main)and steam tug Challenge (extra).
