Feathers Meets Wool
Feathers being the name of this kitten. Rodrigo, our neighbour, has let his sheep onto our Land again, and the kittens were first terrified and then intrigued.
The big excitement of the day was fire spreading very quickly just below us, see extra and Mike's Blip with the fire engine - the sirens starting wailing just as we were lying down for our siesta. Thankfully, the wind was blowing away from us and not too strongly, but it still took them a while to put it out.
Gratefuls:
- three church services! 8:30 Livestream with our son, Paul, then live church here, then 6:30 with our daughter, Deb. Fairly momentous in England, as they will start meeting normally (with masks) in the building as from next week, though maintaining the 8:30 as a Livestream as well, a really good result of the whole lockdown thing, meaning the housebound or whatever, will still be able to participate
- good chats with Paul, and my sister in Texas, and a lovely message from my Uni friend, Alasdair
- a swim in the Lake at sunset, and Mike making pizza
