Old fashioned.

The warm weather has returned with 30 plus celsius for the next week or so.  We had a mixed day of gardening, lunching outdoors, swimming, F1 watching and prawn gutting.  The last mentioned is a task that I don't like, but shop bought prawns usually come with full digestive tracts that need to be sliced open and cleaned.  The result was good: prawns, lardons, garlic, diced courgettes, mushroom, chilli, fresh tarragon and cream. The roses are the best performers in our garden and these old fashioned blooms give pleasure every day.
