Michael John and the gulls

Saturday was out to Cape Clear island. Z was there already, the ferry busy with holiday makers, a beautiful day. We were staying at our friend Geoff's, the main purpose beside seeing Geoff was to head out to Fastnet in Michael John's boat to scatter Pete's ashes. You may remember Geoff's brother Pete was lost to us tragically in late 2018. Some of his ashes had been scattered in Bideford in England where Geoff and Pete come from. Geoff had also scattered some in Tanzania, where Pete spent a lot of his life. Today was the last, Pete was very attached to Cape Clear, where Geoff has lived for many years. So we went out to the Fastnet Rock, scattered his ashes and drank some wine to his memory.
