Friends from the North

Some of my favourite people from the North visited today on the way to the Cotswolds.  Some of you will have seen Sam, Rachel and Ben a few times on Blip.  Ben is my godson.  He is quite tall but my hollyhock has outgrown him!  They had with them, one of my oldest friends, Wendy, who is Ben's Mom.  Wendy and I were at infants school together and went to Brownies and Guides together.  I also did a bit of matchmaking between her and her husband!  It was good to see them all today.  We went out to get this shot in the garden an it was then that my very tall hollyhock is taller than Ben and it has its first flower in bloom!  You can see it in extras.
